This Is Glam: Santa Cruz 'Relentless Renegades' -- New Video

In case you're wondering, Santa Cruz is from Finland.

The new Buckcherry album, Confessions, is streaming in its entirety over at Noisecreep. I gave the album a listen and immediately thought "Yep, that's Buckcherry." By that I mean Confessions has everything you expect from Buckcherry: sleazy guitar solos, swearing and catchy hooks.
From what I've read, people are referring to Confessions as a concept album because each track relates back to one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Again, sounds like a Buckcherry album to me!
The first single is "Gluttony."
You can buy Confessions now on iTunes or Amazon (where the album is just $5). Buckcherry are currently on tour. They'll be at Rock on the Range in May.
If you've got cable, then you'll want to mark you calendars and set your DVR for a five-hour Guns n' Roses special set for March 9. VH1 Classic will air the band's 2012 concert at London's O2 Arena as part of the special. There will also be an hour-long Guns n' Roses video block and a rebroadcast of That Metal Show featuring Axl Rose.
Guns n' Roses were just added to the Governor's Ball festival set for June 7-9 in New York. Then there was the Rocklahoma announcement just a few days ago. All this Guns n' Roses news makes me curious. The band just did a Las Vegas residency and a tour before that. I wonder if all this means Axl's Roses are ready to record a new album?
Here's a preview of the O2 performance.
Poison will headline the Coors Light Carb Day concert on May 24 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Carb Day is part of the lead-up festivities to the Indianapolis 500.
The concert, free with Coors Light Carb Day admission of $20, will take place on the Coors Light Stage in the Indianapolis Motor Speedway infield. Coors Light Carb Day tickets are available now.
The 2013 Indianapolis 500 is scheduled for Sunday, May 26.
I wonder if this means Poison is going out on tour for sure this summer? It's possible this is just a one-off booking, but I suspect the band will use this large-scale show as an official tour kickoff. Time will tell.
AEG just announced another radio festival! The new Fort Rock festival goes down in April in Fort Myers, Florida. Here are the details:
The new Fort Rock music festival will take place Sunday, April 14 at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, Florida, the spring training home of the Boston Red Sox. Fort Rock is presented by 99X and marks Southwest Florida’s largest rock festival.
The initial lineup for Fort Rock includes: The Offspring, 3 Doors Down, Stone Sour, Papa Roach, Volbeat, In This Moment, Escape The Fate, Device (with David Draiman), Pop Evil, Otherwise, Mindset Evolution and many more. Bands will perform on the Main Stage and Jägermeister Second Stage.
Fort Rock is a new festival produced by Danny Wimmer Presents and AEG Live, part of the team that produces the massively successful Rock On The Range, Carolina Rebellion, and Welcome To Rockville festivals.
“AEG and I have found another market with a strong rock culture and influential rock station—99X--that is starving for a big rock festival,” says Danny Wimmer. “We couldn’t have asked for a better partner or location. We’ve been thinking long and hard about creating a festival in this area and now we’re ready to pull the trigger.”
