AC/DC Announce Gold Vinyl Reissues

I just need to keep telling myself "You don't need these records. You don't need these records." Still, it is very cool. To celebrate 50 years as a band, AC/DC will reissue their entire catalog on gold vinyl.

The albums are around $30 each and are available for pre-order now via the AC/DC website or Walmart. They ship next month.

Another Crashdiet Member Change

This poor band. Crashdiet has just undergone yet another member change at the singer position. Gabriel Keyes has left the band and has been replaced by John Elliot.

The most important thing here is that Peter London and Michael Sweet remain the core of the band. The band has some European shows coming in the next few months and also perform on the Monsters of Rock Cruise next month.

Feeling Nostalgic Today

Happy Sunday!

I've been working on cleaning up / purging out items I no longer need and was going through some old music memorabilia. Just things that no one else would care about really but the items still made me smile. Basically, it all took me back to high school and since I'm old, that meant a time when everyone wasn't tied to a cell phone. Ok, so I'm not so old. I did have a cell phone when I got my license at 16, but it was that big kind of phone that was expensive and you kept in the car for an emergency or something. Like, my dad warned me "Never use this unless there is a wreck or something."

By the time I hit college as an undergrad, I had "upgraded" to a small phone that was so crappy you couldn't hear to talk through it and of course texting wasn't really a thing yet either. I never had the phone on me half the time either. (I finished graduate school two years before the iPhone was even invented, so there's that, too!)

So anyway, seeing the photo below pop into my Facebook feed made me smile and remember the way things used to be: being broke but having fun, sitting around and listening to music and driving for no purpose on warm days. Life really was simpler as a kid (er, teen).

So This Happened: New Motley Crue Dolls

Super7 just released Shout At The Devil era Motley Crue dolls. I know quite a few of you collect these figurines. They are honestly pretty cool but the Nikki Sixx doll looks odd to me.

The set of four is $80 and honestly I'm surprised they are not sold-out as of this writing. Check out the figurines (non-sponsored link).

It's Finally Here! The New Crazy Lixx Album 'Two Shots At Glory'

Two Shots At Glory is the name of the new Crazy Lixx album. I've been sharing their unique take on videos over the past few months and now there's another new clip to share. This time it is for the album's title track with video footage from the 90s movie Stone Cold. This is real Glam!
