Alice Cooper Speaks The Truth

There is no one more wise than Mr. Alice Cooper. Fuse TV just ran an interview with the Coop where he basically says modern, so-called "rock" bands... suck. Alice Cooper is my hero.

Skid Row Covers Judas Priest

The European release of the Skid Row EP United World Rebellion: Chapter One features two bonus tracks, "Fire Fire" (originally done by EZO) and "United" (originally done by Judas Priest). Personally, I dig the Judas Priest track. The Glam husband disagreed with me and said it didn't do the original justice. I have to admit I'm a little surprised at Johnny Solinger's voice on "United" but I think he's trying to channel his inner Rob Halford. Check it out below (just scroll down to "United") and let me know what you think.

Stryper Performs New Song

Stryper recently performed a new song, "Marching Into Battle" and I knew some of you would definitely want to check out the clip.

Stryper is one of those bands that you either really love... or don't. It seems like I have a lot of readers who are very passionate about the band. In fact, I get a lot of emails about Stryper and people asking me to write more about them. If you're a big fan of the band, please listen to this track and let me know what you think. Happy Monday!

Heavy Metal Night!

I just love when I discover some real metal moments! Enjoy this juicy Heavy Metal Night from back in 1983 featuring Iron Maiden, the Scorpions and Judas Priest. The concert took place in Germany, Dortmund.

The Asking Alexandria Preview Has Me Stoked

My Outlook calendar at work is already marked on August 6th for the new Asking Alexandria album. From Death to Destiny comes out that day and I'm so stoked. I got super excited yesterday when Sumerian Records released a 10 minute YouTube teaser of the new Asking Alexandria. The song snippets sound awesome. Yes, I know most of you don't like Metalcore or Asking Alexandria, but I love them and I'm a proud supporter of the band. Plus, if you're a runner, Asking Alexandria is great for your iPod. From Death to Destiny will help me with my training for sure.

Queensryche Releases 'Fallout' Video

Queensryche just released a video for the song "Fallout." The song is amazingly good and sounds current. The track doesn't necessarily sound like Queensryche period, but that's okay. The band is different now and the remaining members have evolved. I dig it.

The Last Vegas, 'She's My Confusion' -- New Video

One of my favorite new Glam bands, The Last Vegas, is back with a brand new video for the song "She's My Confusion." The song is on the album Bad Decisions. The Last Vegas is currently on tour with Buckcherry and Hardcore Superstar. Now that is an awesomely Glam bill!
