Chris DeGarmo Resurfaces

Unreal! Chris DeGarmo of Queensryche fame has resurfaced in the music world. He's performing with his daughter Rylie in their new project The Rue. The duo made an EP and released a song online. It's not what you would expect from Chris really, but it is very good.

Mike Tramp Releases New Song

Mike Tramp's new single is "High Like A Mountain" from the upcoming album Nomad due in August. Mike promises the album doesn't sound like White Lion. Based on the first single, I would agree with that. Mike will tour Europe this summer.

Favorite Dad Rock Bands?

Happy Father's Day and happy first day of summer! Seems like a good day to play some videos for our favorite dad rock bands. I guess some people use the term dad rock as a put down, but I don't get it: usually it just means awesome classic rock bands. So here's some of my favorite "dad rock." Happy Sunday.

Sebastian Bach Stops Show, Helps Injured Fan

Hat Tip to Blabbermouth on this one. Sebastian Bach got really riled at a fan for stealing a setlist... but then stopped his gig to help out an injured female fan. It seems like the guy rushing the stage probably pushed the female in some way or another. Here's the report:

"Former SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach stopped his band's June 10 concert in Seattle, Washington after a fan climbed up on stage and stole the group's setlist before jumping back into the crowd, in the process injuring a fellow patron. The incident in question, which was captured in the fan-filmed video below, occurred during Bach's performance of the song 'American Metalhead' from his 2007 album Angel Down. A man can be seen making his way onto the stage and grabbing a drink from the cabinet next to the drum riser before casually walking over to the front of the stage and removing the setlist which was taped to the monitor in front of Bach. A security guy is then seen grabbing the fan from behind and throwing him into the audience. Sebastian can then be heard speaking directly to the fan, saying: 'Are you fu--ing serious? You're an idiot!' He then addresses the club security, saying, 'Fu--ing call the cops on this fu--ing guy.' He went on to say: 'Stop the show. Why? Like, why? This chick is hurt. This chick is hurt.' Bach then proceeds to wait on stage while the injured fan is presumably being tended to by fellow concertgoers."

Here's video of what went down:

Phil Collen and Delta Deep Releases New Song

Phil Collen of Def Leppard is gearing up for some busy times with his side project called Delta Deep. The blues band does originals and all sorts of cover songs from a wide variety of acts. Delta Deep will release its self-titled debut next week. To support that album, the band went ahead and released the track "Private Number." This is definitely something different and interesting from Collen.
