Bait and Switch?

More acts have signed on to the massive farewell Black Sabbath show this summer including Guns n' Roses and Tool. Tickets went on sale last week and sold out in like 16 minutes, so the addition of more bands wasn't to grease the skids in attendance.

Now, the big question: was this all a bait and switch? The concert was first advertised as the last show ever with the original members of Black Sabbath including Ozzy Osbourne. Now we all know Ozzy is in a bad way health-wise. Parkinson's disease is a monster and it is really taking its toll on Osbourne now according to media reports. Still, the concert was advertised as a full Ozzy performance with Sabbath. Now Ozzy is quoted as saying he will do "bits and pieces" of the show with Sabbath as he can. Ozzy says he can't walk right now, but he's coping. I'm sure the "Back to the Beginning" concert will still be legendary - maybe not just quite as originally billed.

For Those Who Love Hearing Entire Albums Live

So this is kind of cool. Styx and Kevin Cronin (of REO Speedwagon fame, of course) will perform their famous albums live in full this summer on the "Brotherhood of Rock" Tour. Styx will perform The Grand Illusion plus other hits. The Kevin Cronin band will perform Hi-Infidelity, which is just a banging album.

The tour starts at the end of May and there are dates all over America.

'Love That'll Never Be' - The Dead Daisies

Happy Valentine's Day and Happy Friday (thank glam!)

My beloved John Corabi is sounding strong on the new ballad "Love That'll Never Be" (Radio Edit). The song is on The Dead Daisies 2024 album Light 'Em Up.

The song was going to be for a Corabi solo album, but I think it works great as a full-band effort!

New Sebastian Bach Video

Sebastian Bach just released a video for his song "To Live Again." Yes folks, this is a power ballad. The video features Bach's wife and dog too, so I hope that means those relationship issues are all resolved. The song is on the new album Child Within The Man.

Vince Neil - Motley Crue Statement On Plane Crash

I was on the treadmill last night when I saw the news of a Lear jet crash at Scottsdale airport. Like everyone else, I thought "Another one?" and then I saw that one of the aircraft involved is owned by Vince Neil.

Obviously I was pretty concerned and assumed the worst. As I kept refreshing socials for what felt like forever, I was finally relieved to learn that Vince wasn't on the plane at the time of the crash. His girlfriend Rain Hannah was and she did get hurt with non-life-threatening injuries. Sadly, a pilot was killed and another injured.
