Jani Lane Really Out of Warrant

The rest of Warrant has replaced Jani with Robert Mason of Big Cock.
Jani is an addict and he needs help. That's all I have to say about that issue. I'm not - nor have I ever been - an addict, so it is not my place to judge or criticize. I thank Jani for writing some of the best songs of the Glam genre. I think he truly needs a break.
Warrant performed at Rock the Bayou just days ago. You can read my review of the performance in the archive. Yes, the show was terrible. Here is the proof that presumably sent the rest of Warrant over the edge:

As far as Jani's addiction my heart goes out to him only because I too have close friends that are addicts and wish them well. However, I feel that the bottom line here is if you are in a band and choose to make a living in a band that tours, makes music and prospers from your fan base then I feel that no matter who you are, what your physical or mental condition is like you have an OBLIGATION to fulfill your fans expectations. Let's face it no matter how you look at it what they do IS considered a job.
If you are in a band that decides to focus on a tour to make a living then FOCUS. Remember that even as hard as it is to tour being on the road, personal issues and behind the scenes "politics" that those fans are making you a living no matter what by purchasing a ticket to come see you play live. Needless to say that I too have had experience as a working & touring musician but at the end of the day the best feeling doesn't come from sex, drugs or alcohol, it comes from a job well done. Jani, YOU ARE THE MAN! I have just about all the albums that you have recorded and commend you on a job well done. Thank You for keeping REAL Rock & Roll alive and I wish you well in your health and all your future endeavors. Peace.
