Anyone Know the Band Trash?

Does anyone know anything about the Swedish band Trash? Their 1985 album Burnin' Rock was recently rereleased on CD. The band made a video for the single “Boogie Woogie Man.” It's not exactly original – there's a big AC/DC sound – but it's not bad and is basically a new discovery for me.

Here's the band performing on the old UK show ECT. Check out the rockers in the front row! ( ECT was apparently a live show that catered to rock/metal acts, with no hosts and no advertising).

Thanks to digging, I found out that Trash performed on the show on June 6, 1985.

Never heard of them, but based on this one song I am not sure I would check them out further. It seems a bit generic for my taste. However, I would have to hear more to make a judgement.

Sweet name tho.

I picked up an original CD release of "Burnin' Rock" a while ago, put in on my iTunes but forgot to add it to my "Heavy Roxx" Playlist!

Thanks for reminding me, Al! Mission accomplished!

Now I'm about to go running (Metalboy! was on the verge of changing his name to Fatboy!) and I'll be crankin' it up high in about 15 minutes!

"Ladies and Gentlemen, this is Rock And Roll! The One! The Only! Trash!"

5-4-3-2-1...

Blast Off!

Saw Trash at Harpos in Detroit in July of 1985. Opened for Robin Trower. GREAT night. My brother (somehow) found copies of Watch Out and Burnin' Rock. GREAT albums. Great rock and roll band. If you've got 'em, dig 'em out and listen to them.

I have this album from 1985! I've always loved it, it's a classic. Such a shame that the band split up, I think they would have gone on to do great things. I'm in England, I can't remember how I came to love this band.
I will always love this album, it reminds this 53 year old middle
aged lady my 18 year old self! It's just good, old fashioned rock music, unlike a lot of synthesized rock that was around at the time.
It needs, and deserves to be played loud, and I still do! I still love this album 35 years on and it still sounds fantastic. These guys had the best hair in the business!
