Glam Is Back; Tracii Guns To Perform on 'The Price is Right'

Yes, you read that headline correctly: Tracii Guns, of our beloved L.A. Guns, will perform on The Price is Right. The game show airs Monday-Friday here in America.
Tracii wrote this on his Facebook page:
"Just found out I get to shred on The Price is Right next Tuesday and it airs May 9. I will be playing the Dean guitar that the contestants will be bidding on...I only get 10-20 seconds so, I gotta just shreddddddd!"
Yep, Tracii will be demonstrating a prize guitar, which I think is pretty cool. Now be sure to set your DVR!

I hope the price was right for Tracii to do this gig.
It'll cost you at least $12,000 to have Jimmy Page or Jeff Beck to phone in a guitar lead and they are very picky about the project.
Still it's a great opportunity to Bring Back Glam! in a big way.
How far Glam Metal has come since Buckcherry brought it back singlehandedly, in mid-1998 with "Lit Up".
I believe all of the events over the last decade or so, and many I have simply spaced out have added to Allyson's cause to Bring Back Glam!
If you can think of any other big seismic shifts helping to advance our cause, please add to this comment section...
In no particular chronological (as in "way out of") order:

Many Metal Websites are launched but only one is dedicated to an original concept and idea!...
...BRING BACK GLAM!...
Launched in December of 2006 (what a Holiday present to The Rock'n'Roll World!), BBG! or bringbackglam.com, is the only spot in the entire web universe where the cause to advance Glam Metal back into the forefront in our culture and The World of Music never ceases (except for a few random posts about GaGa, Michael Jackson or somebody non-Metal slips in, for some strange reason, hahaha!!!)

Strip Hair Band, not a pretender like Daughtry or some other clowns who have hogged up the airwaves on Idol previously.
Zakk Wylde appears on American Idol with James Durbin.

Rock ON!
p.s. Please let me know if I missed anything or if I need to adjust something in my Timeline. I'm sure it's all over the place but I figured we had to start somewhere.
There have been many more metal festivals since that time, as well as some big ones still to come (M3!). Although Rocklahoma has 'lost its way' from the earliest inception, it was the one festival that started it all and proved that old adage: "If you build it, they will come..."
And you, too, I'm The One!
Plus, I forgot to put anything on that Crumology about Darkness, who I think did just as about as much to Bring Back Glam than Buckcherry. (I'm calling it a Crumology because I'm too lazy to chase down the exact dates for all of this and put it in proper chronological order)
I just watched the vid she has posted here and at the end it does that YouTube thing that let's you click onto the next vid up, which, in this case, happens to be another and another and another killer solo after killer solo.
Just keep watchin', wait 'til the next one comes up, click on it and you're onto a new one and repeat 'til you just can't take it any more! The guy is an absolute animal of the first order!
Tracii Guns is the biggest unsung Guitar Legend of the 80's era. I saw it for myself 6 times all in the 80's and early 90's, including '87 at The Country Club in L.A. before L.A. Guns got signed! KILLER!
