Happy Easter...Don't Play These Songs for Grandma

Happy Easter, Glam fans! I know most of you will be with family and friends today and not checking the interwebs - and that is great. But in case you're here I felt obliged to list a few songs you shouldn't play for grandma later today.
Slayer: "Skeleton Christ"
Motley Crue: "Shout at the Devil"
Mayhem: "Freezing Moon"
Want to rock out safely? Play grandma Stryper. I bet she'd like that.

Thank goodness for freedom of speech, right?
Granted, it is your website & you are well within your rights to free speech, however just because you have a hatred of religion, "any religion", the move to post that on Easter was a move on par with the douchebags that picket outside the funerals of our soldiers who have lost their lives in Iraq & Afghanistan, and at the funeral of Ronnie James Dio. Whether you agree with something or not, that was uncool.
It's called HUMOR!
As Christian, who's name says who he is, brings to light, it's all meant to be in jest and it's about about IRONY, as Bob points out.
Allyson, was just bein' like a kid punkin' on Grandma for Easter. It's HILLARIOUS! C'mon, people, lighten up!
p.s. Christian, I actually finally got into MASS, pullin' one of their albums down off iTunes on Easter Sunday. Awesome! And of course, I listened to Stryper, too. And Crue! And all the usual suspects!
I've always thought this to be interesting: metal fans are notoriously conservative and yet like outlandish lyrics and antics of their favorite bands. Anti-religious messages in metal are common, yet it's not okay to mention them? Or just not okay on religious holidays? I think this would be a fascinating academic study...as in, what are the boundaries of religion for the majority of metal fans?
Clearly I've been misunderstood here. I'm a compassionate, open-minded person. But if you knew me...well, you'd know that.
That said, I have also met many great ones. Just hung out with nearly a whole club full at the Accept show at Firestone in Orlando. I'd say only about 10 percent of the people in the place were ignorant or jerks, which, for this day and age, is pretty remarkable.
One other point - Easter is a Catholic invention. The singer of Slayer is Catholic. So, what's the issue ? :P
But, for real, Old Sarge...
Huh-uh-lo-oh! COMEDY!
I guess we lost him, which is a shame becuz he needed to be enlightened about the concept of humour!
p.s. Christian! Accept is THE Greatest Metal Band alive, bar none! I saw 'em witness them slay the kidz left and right point blank!
