Anvil, Helix to Play Sweden Rock Cruise

If you've got a lot of cash to drop for 23 hours at sea, you might consider the Sweden Rock Cruise. The cruise sails October 6th from Stockholm, Sweden, makes a stop in Finland and returns to Stockholm on the 7th. Anvil and a reunited Helix are confirmed for the cruise and four more band announcements are forthcoming. I'm not quite sure why the Sweden Rock Cruise is always just one night. Seems to me the cruise could easily be expanded to at least three nights, but I digress. I'm sure the event is fun regardless.

Hi Ally. I think I can shed some light on why this cruise is only one day. Waaaaay back in my college days, I had a roommate who was from Sweden. He told me all about this boat that would make the trip from Stockholm to Helsinki and back. The whole thing lasts around 24 hours and is basically one big non stop party. I haven't checked into this specific cruise you're talking about, but I bet it's just that same trip that normally happens, with some bands added for that particular night.

Well I don't know about the author above, nor do I care, but for me . . . this cruise will be something I will cherish. Ever once in a while Helix gets to perform at some unique gigs, this being one of them. I've performed in 13 different countries around the world, with many world famous bands, but I feel fortunate to be a part of this one . . .
