M3 2014 Dates Announced

Talk about early! Having a festival in April means we can't consider M3 a summer event this year at all. It's going to be cold! What do you think about this crazy early start to festival season?

The problem with M3 is they wait to long to announce a date. Seems as if nearly every weekend in May had already been announced by another festival. Mother's day weekend was available but for some reason M3 doesn't wanna do that weekend again.

If any of you are going to M3.. I'll be doing another "Pre-Party" in 2014. The date will be Thursday, April 24, 2014.

Details coming really soon.

The weather for this could go either way. I've seen it snow here that late in April. I also remember about 2 or 3 years ago we had temps at 90 for the week. Best bet would be mid 60's during the day, and freeze your ass off when the sun sets...LOL

I have always wanted to go to an M3. But seriously they need to get Poison, Wasp, Twisted Sister, and Motley Crue. No disrespect to Great White and them who play it every year. I just want to see the most kickass lineup they can pull together. LA Guns would be a perfect fit too. Maybe some newer acts Buckcherry, Davey Suicide, Crashdiet, Steel Panther. I want a really badass lineup.

Its only 1 week earlier this year.
Bring a jacket or dont go, I cant stand people that complain about festivals being too cold or too hot.
Stay home and listen to Hair Nation if your gonna be a wimp.
Its a great event no matter the weather.

Cannot wait. The Pre Party that Rock-it runs, will be the best lineup yet. What a weekend it will be.

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night keeps these rockers from the swift completion of our completed rounds...I'm in.

I'm lived in Maryland most of my life and Gary's right. It's gonna be frickin' COLD and THAT S*CKS!!!

Still, I'll be there ready to freeze my a*s off IF the line-up is worthy. Last year really coulda used a major band at the top of the roster.

Brett Michaels does not a REAL headliner make and the proof was in over a third of the people leaving before his set even started.

I heard after the show from a reliable source that the promoter had the opportunity to get POISON but cheaped out with Michaels only to regret it later.

When is M3 ever going to get it together again? Once they had REAL headliners like Scorps, RATT and Cinderella. Unfortunately, it's been downhill ever since. At least we had the likes of WASP, Steelheart, Love/Hate, Firehouse, KIX and TUFF to save us last year.

p.s. One thing I am looking forward to is Rock-It's M-Pre Party. If it's anything like last year when he brilliantly booked Diemonds and Station, it will rival the main event.
