Steven Tyler, Nuno Bettencourt Share Stage

Steven Tyler and Nuno Bettencourt were recently in South Africa for a press event. Both guys were there to perform with supergroup Kings of Chaos. Tyler and Bettencourt jammed together on "More Than Words" at the presser and it was epic. You can tell they hadn't rehearsed the song much more than one time - Steven is even reading the words. But they gave it a go and the results are pretty awesome. I mean, think about it: Steven Tyler knows that every performance he gives is recorded and watched around the world immediately. He gave it his all, and I love that! Oh and you can really hear how strong Nuno's voice is here -- also great!

Unfortunately, I had to witness this live one of the first times Bettencourt played it in NYC back in the day with... um, oh yeah, Extreme at The Cat Club.
I will admit, "Kid Ego" sounded pretty good, though.
p.s. Love the Aerosmith double header take over ya got goin' on here, Al. What's with all the foolin' around? Where the h*ll's "Rocks II"? Looks like The Toxic Twins need better handlers and get on with the business at hand!
Hey, Crued... I just happened to watch a bunch of videos of Kings of Chaos on Metal Sludge, I think... They have a revolving cast of characters coming in and out of the line-up but the core group is something like Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum and Gilby Clarke.
Add revolving door members Tyler, Billy Gibbons, Robin Zander and a host of others who each take turns doing their hits with the added benefit of some of the singers dueting, i.e. Tyler and Zander teaming up for The Beatles' immortal "Come Together", a natural choice for them since Tyler and Co. performed that in the movie "Sgt. Peppers" plus Zander singing it in Cheap Trick's performances of the entire album of the same name in places like Vegas, etc.
