KXM Release Video

KXM has just released a video for the track "Rescue Me" off the upcoming self-titled debut.

Ray Luzier (Korn), Doug Pinnick (King's X) and George Lynch make up this interesting supergroup. I think KXM have a unique sound - definitely looking forward to more from this band.

Saw this video a few days ago on another rock news site, I van safle say it sucks. Lynch should just hang it up and stop wasting his time putting out shit after shit.either rejoin dokken or keep lynch mobs original style n run with it.

This is not that good. Also, is it just me or does Pinnick look bad, physically?

Why on earth would Lynch form a band with these clowns?! George, I am begging you, get together with Corabi or somebody decent!

Ray Luzier is the real deal...a Pennsylvania small town homeboy whose favorite band was/is van halen and his bedroom was plastered with vh posters. He moved to California as a young musician and accomplished his first (and then only) goal in becoming david lee roth's drummer. If I'm not mistaken, he had the longest stint during roth's solo reign, until he was offered partnership in korn.

I heard this on the Ozzys Boneyard yesterday. Did not know George was in the band. Sounded just like Korn to me and I was never a fan of Korn...

fletch is right on the money about Luzier -- a quality drummer who just happens to be part of the crapfest that is Korn. That said, Pinnick sounds like absolute crap these days. This could actually be a decent band if they got someone else to sing. speaking of people who can't sing anymore, Don Dokken definitely fits that bill, so not sure why people think that Lynch reuniting with Dokken would be so great.

Point taken, Gentlemen. Luzier sounds like the real deal. But Pinnacle is a hack!

Though Korn sucks!

You guys saying that this sounds like KORN obviously did not listen to more than 20 seconds. By the chorus, it has a total King's X vibe. I am really digging this song, I hope the rest of the album is as good.

I have to agree with Mike on this one. Pinnick is not a hack. He is a 60+ year old trooper who has put out some extremely engaging material, while battling demons and aspersions. A black (and, for a long time, closeted) metal singer who battled addiction and depression and a host of other things (with frail health and no insurance being on the bill very recently)? The fact that he is still standing and creating is something.

Just my opinion: King's X took the lyrical heft that Living Colour hinted at and melded it to a skin that was at times progressive and religious. Sure, he has left behind the latter these days. But those early albums were amazing works of art. He is candid in interviews and seems to have gained a measure of respect and peace these days.

Korn? I don't hear no scat, don't see no Blackie-wannabe microphones, or hear no black-helicopters-meet-high-school-angst lyrics. I hear something, like Mike does, that is influenced by--wrapped around really--Pinnick's signature bass and singing styles.

I wish him the best even if this project doesn't kick up much interest. Sure, I pine for Lynch/Corabi. But I won't push "skip" on this.

It sounds less than half way decent. Ehh, there are way to many bands and supergroups out there that are just faceless. I like some Korn and Ray is the real deal, and of course George Lynch just shreds. I cant F*****G stand Kings X though, so damn boring.
