Ace Frehley has a new song out and it's called "Gimme a Feelin.'" The track is off his upcoming solo album due July 8. I know you guys are going to love this one!

Sounds like classic Ace- pretty decent tune. I'm on board for the new CD.

Sounds more like KISS than KISS !

Sounds like it could've come straight off of "Open Up And Say..Ahhhh!" And I say that in a good way. It kicks some pretty serious ass. Good to see my original inspiration to ever pick up a guitar still has it.

Not really a wow factor. But this just kicks ass. Gotta love Ace!

Frehley is playing better than he has in years, but it's still far below his abilities in his prime.
Not a bad song, just not a great one.
This sounds more like a rough mix, & would benefit greatly from a properly leveled mix & mastering.

I'm with ace Steele on this one. I really hope this is just a rough mix because the song isn't bad at all, but the prrrrroduction is terrible. Frehley hasn't broken any new ground with this tune, but so what. It's classic Ace which is fine with me.

Better than the fake Ace song on the KISS Monster CD....other than that ones opening single, it's better than the rest of that whole album. Sounds like classic Ace to me.

Any Ace is better then recent KISS!

Meh. He wont be gaining or losing any fans, with this. Nothing special, will be playing your local dive bar, while trying to hook up with some over the hill broad, longing for the days of old. All while singing his own songs that most of the ppl there have never heard, or have any interest of hearing.

wow bkallday, did he kick your dog too ?

Lol. Nope, i actually like the guy but his solo stuff just isnt that strong, thats all. He did make some horrible decisions in his life though. For example, what did he expect when he sold his rights to the makeup? Also, he knew G & P were sticklers for alcohol and drugs, yet he kept going back? Wtf was all that? Dont get me wrong, im on Ace and Peter's side, its just that none of them are free of blame for this mess.

Not bad. I think it is a step in the right direction for him. Really would like to hear the rest of the cd..

Love it!

I think the sound is due to compression. Or am I wrong (others on here would know more about that than me)? It seems like a lot of teasers are released sounding like this, to ward off copying or what, I have no idea. Then again, not all of Ace's solo stuff has had stellar sound.

It sounds like Ace. That means you like it or you don't. I appreciate the simplicity (what others have called the "feeling" that Ace puts into his songs).

Not sure I'd buy the album. But I would go to a show if he came my way.

I'd go just to hear "Rock Soldiers" and "New York Groove", hahaha!!!

Featuring Letterman drummer Fig! Nice nod to the Comet (though I prefer "Into the Night").
