Sweet/Lynch Debut Lyric Video

Sweet/Lynch, the new collaboration between George Lynch, Michael Sweet, James Lomenzo and Brian Tichy, just released the official lyric video for "September." The song is a tribute to the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks. The track is part of the group's debut, due in early 2015.

9/11 songs are tricky to me. I lived downtown and witnessed 9/11 as a battle zone. Obviously I don't need to remember, it's etched forever and a part of me; significant but not the same as those who lost innocent loved ones (I thankfully did not). I saw the good and bad in people.
The one 9/11 song that I feel should have been our nations mantra is Halford's "Wrath of God". That is a fierce and guttural response to the humans that committed those atrocities. Do yourself a favor and YouTube that song. The lyric:"The dark skies...the victims....the air is full of vengeance. From now on...no mercy the wrath of god reigns on you! It's over!! Your wasted!! Now your incinerated!! In HELL I'll meet you and once again defeat you!!!!" That is poetry in emotion!
Rob wrote a master of a song there and it should be more well known as an artistic representation of what we all felt in the months post 9/11. Guttural and emotive and true.
So sweet and lynch wrote a good song we just heard, but it's no Wrath of God by Halford.
