Sweet & Lynch Release New Video

Michael Sweet and George Lynch have teamed up to form a new band. The group will release Only to Rise on January 27. The first single is "Dying Rose" and now there's a video to support the tune. Happy Friday!

Obviously one of my favorite guitarists and a great vocalist. Definitely grabbing this one. The years have been a friend to Sweet's voice. He may sound better now than back in the day.

For me, everything Michael Sweet does sounds like Stryper. He has a good voice but its irritating to me. Love Lynch but this is average at best.

A diehard purist blues guitarist I know that nice told me, "I could listen to George Lynch all day long.

And Michael Sweet's got a great voice and based on the conversations I've had with him, a stand up guy.

But, honestly, aside from the always fascinating guitar work of Lynch, this pretty unremarkable.

And whoever directed this video should be shot for making Lynch look so foolish.

I mean, what's with the hat, ill fitting shirt and staring at the camera so awkwardly, when, in reality, you're the coolest cat in the room no matter who's in it, Sweet included!
