Cheap Trick, Peter Frampton Announce Tour

Another good looking tour for the summer: Cheap Trick and Peter Frampton! So far, not a lot of dates have been announced. It's pretty evident the big gaps in dates indicate more stops will be added. Will you attend this tour?

this is a great double bill. If the tour comes to San Diego, and if the ticket prices aren't ridiculous, I'll absolutely go. Cheap Trick and Peter Frampton both still bring it at a very high level.

I second that sentiment, Bob. The Bun E. Carlos thing still irks me. But both bands have aged better and perform with more intensity than a lot of their peers.

Frampton, in particular, was a revelation for me. I knew the hits. But seeing him live, and seeing him to interacting with the fans in such a joyful and self-effacing manner, made me a convert.

Then you've got Cheap Trick, on a whole other plane than Frampton with more wit, intelligence, smarts, humor in the lyrics and virtuosity in the music writing.

My sentiments, too, HIM... Shame about Bun E. Let's hope they can hug it out before he can't play anymore. Something tells me they will!
