Stryper, 'All Over Again' -- New Video

Stryper are back with a new album called Fallen. Just a handful of days ago, the band released the video for "All Over Again," a really strong effort. I have to give Stryper credit: they are exceptionally consistent.

Whatever I might think of this stylistically, aside, one thing that really comes through in this video is what genuinely nice guys The Boys of Stryper are. Oh, and I also really want that Möbius strip guitar!

I'm not really a fan of their older stuff. But their covers album and last two studio albums really surprised me. I'm starting to like this band a lot more. Any live dates coming up?

The video looks like a ChristianMingle promo spot! I kid. But it is certainly minimalistic. "Why the green-screen, boys?" "We really want that white to pop!"

Like you Dj, I am happy to have found this band later in life when I wasn't such a temperamental/judgmental music lover. There is a lot to recommend them. And I bet they would be fun to hang out with (the stories, right?).

One thing: can anyone else hear Poison when they listen to this? For some strange reason, it feels like a Poison song to me.

I see what... er... um... I HEAR what you mean, HIM... It's very Poisonesque... A little "Life Goes On", perhaps?

And you are right, HIM! Nicest guys you could ever meet... I've told the story before... I actually had lunch with these guys at The Hard Rock Cafe in NASSAU when The Monsters of Rock Cruise docked there for the day.

Just spur of the moment, as my ex-lead guitarist and I ran into them while walking over to the restaurant just as they were walking in... They asked us to join them... The talk was pleasant and very in the moment inspired by the memorabilia surrounding us in the restaurant...

And then we walked back with them, laughing our as*es off as Michael Sweet is quite the cut up. I think these guys aren't as*holes and very down to earth, keeping their egos in check unlike horse's as*es like those d*cks from Teslug because they answer to a higher power.

Whether you agree with their beliefs or not, I get the impression their whole "walking in the footsteps of Jesus" mentality keeps them from acting like they're Gods Gift to this Green Earth, which judging from seeing their flawless live performances several times, they may very well be!

Great story Metalboy! And I tend to agree with you about why they are likely so down to Earth.
