Would You Pay For This?

We're all super fans here. We love music, still pay for songs instead of stealing, go to shows, and fly around the world to attend festivals. In March, a bunch of musicians we idolize will join forces at Mandaly Bay in Las Vegas for Masters of Metal. It costs up to $6,500 a person. That doesn't include your hotel stay, either. So admit it: would you do this? It's cool as can be and equals bragging rights forever, but man, what an expense.

I love seeing Schenker on stage. Enjoyed Hughes on the Sabbath album. Amazed, and grateful, they are both still around. But, like Gary, there are better things to use my money on that this camp.
Sure, if money was no object . . . no, still don't think it is my cup of tea. I'd rather see them live with friends than noodle around with them. But that is just me.
Which brings me to Ward. Of the three, he is the one I am most impressed by . . . for his legacy with Sabbath and for the job he does bringing new music to the masses on his show. I also happen to think that the situation with the reunion was handled poorly, by all involved, and that he ended up getting thrown under a bus (I know, I know, I know . . . his health issues were/are legion and he has bailed in the past on the fellows).
What's my point? To support him, since I can't see him at gigs, I bought some of his art. A discretionary purchase that now proudly hangs on my wall. A small, anonymous, gesture that more directly links me, to my way of thinking, to Ward and my appreciation for his role in my musical life for all these years.
Even if the line up was david lee roth, tom keifer and eddie van halen, because I "am" delusional and narcissistic enough to believe that I can teach them a few things about how to rock-n-roll, coupled with what HIM and Gary stated above.
remove tom keifer, but definitely include sebastian bach!
same sentiments.
I ain't dumb, though according to legend.
If it was his choice, however, that would be a ballsy move from a class act who, again, really shows a deep appreciation for a lot of different rock/metal music on his show.
