New Glam: The Tip

If you're looking for some new sleaze glam, look no further than The Tip, from Nashville. They have a debut EP called Killin' It Wasted and an official video for the track "Welcome To The Night." Really good stuff here for sure. I love the tour poster below. Reminds me of Draw The Line-era Aerosmith.

They kind of remind me of KIX, with vast chunks of early 60's era Rolling Stones, & this song in particular has a heavy borrow from the 60's band "Them" & their hit, G-L-O-R-I-A. ...

Love it and love the fact that these guys are going against the grain and reminding us Rockin' out like this is a helluva lot more fun than the way most of the acts that would be considered Rock today do it.
And spot on, Allyson & Ace... I'm feelin' a little New York Dolls and Guns n' Roses as influences, as well. And I picked up on the "Gloria" cop, too, Ace, but the way they do it gets a pass in my book. Kicka*s!
Def Leppard or The Monsters of Rock Cruise(s) ought to add them to their cruise line-up... But it might be kind of risky as you can tell, The Tip seem fully capable of stealing the show!
Rock & Roll is alive and well in Nashville!
The Tip are way more original and memorable than Crashdiet or Santa Cruz and this video is all one needs to prove it!
p.s. Let's put it this way, I've got a young hottie who just moved to Nashville. I can assure you, if I tell her to go see The Tip, I'll probably never see her again!!!
