DJ Ashba Gets Smacked

So DJ Asjhba was sucking on an e-cig during a concert in Las Vegas, which ticked off the guy next to him (it would have made me mad, too). So naturally the two men get into it... there's a scuffle and I'm pretty sure Ashba got smacked. Of course someone filmed the brouhaha and the clip made TMZ. The whole mess ended up with cops escorting everyone involved out of the Planet Hollywood venue. Ashba was deemed the victim in the matter. No jail time or fines for him! I presume he went back to vaping. TGIF ya'll.

You take two vague approximations of things that are dangerous and destructive, mix them together, and you get this.
And I just bet mini-Slash was vaping a flavored liquid. Perhaps "Mr. Brownstone" Nutmeg or "Rocket Queen" Raspberry.
You know where you are? You're on the playground, baby . . . and your gonna' cry!
And who could blame him, really, with such an easy gig he's got. Might as well get completely buzzed out on your night off (or any night, really).
You guys are right, though... Someone who owes everything to the fans also owes them respect. Especially, smoke or vape or any of that sh*t when you're among the hoi polloi.
Your rhymed suggestion made me laugh, Metalboy! Besides, one needs inspiration when designing their own clothing line: http://www.ashbaclothing.com/.
Won't weigh in on the pros or cons of vaping (not my place). But Dj and Kenny are right: decorum dictates you take it to a designated spot.
But the issue of what people feel entitled to do and what they should do is one that is as old as time.
Same for vaping. Far less noxious/toxic than smoke (at least as far as the recent research suggests). But still not enjoyed by everyone. Then again, I remember the old days when sneaking a smoke (the toxic kind) was a rite of passage. So am I the old guy now? Probably. But Ashba's the old guy too (well, he is 42), done up like a young guy.
Take a few shots, then look down to check the tiny digital displays on the back of their cameras. They don't even realize they're missing the true experience of taking in a show. They're taking pictures instead of taking it in.
I did catch the female half of this duo stopping, though just got a minute, just staring at awe at the man who was center stage... None other than Jake E. Lee shredding a huge solo. But once his solo concluded, she went right back to snapping away, oblivious to the fact that, for that one moment, she was really experiencing the show instead of just documenting it.
In between songs, since she was right next to me, I actually told her I was glad she stopped taking pictures for a moment so she could truly enjoy the show. She just laughed as if she didn't understand (and I don't think she did) and just kept snapping away.
So all of you chronic amateur photographers, videographers and overtexters going to these shows, to you I say, "Go ahead, miss your life!"
p.s. "... Ashba's the old guy too.(well, he is 42), done up like a young guy." Hahaha!!! Priceless, as usual, HIM!!!
