Marq Torien Arrested For Allegedly Not Paying Child Support

Innocent until proven guilty in America... but I have no tolerance for this kind of crap. Bulletboys Marq Torien was just arrested in Florida for allegedly not paying child support. He was arrested for the same offense a few years ago. Sorry, if you have kids, you have to pay for them. End of story.

While i agree that child support must be paid, ive got a feeling that this lady was on the make. Getting guys to knock you up so you can get paid, is unfortunately becoming the new thing. Does this mean the guy is innocent, of course not, but i just had to get this comment in. Btw, if the pig really said that, he should lose his job(guessing he didnt).

There are a few twists to this story (scorned lover, new lover did the posting, he has been kept from his kids, etc.) which lend credence to a measure of incredulity. But that is the story in this churn and burn click-bait age.

But that doesn't change the fact the "you make it, you pay for it" equation. Pretty simple math. At this stage in the game, you work it out in court and you follow through with what is expected or petition for a change in the ruling. So, again, sad.

The "Pig" comment, Jeff? Totally agree. But I counsel others on here . . . you can't make a leopard change his well-muscled, 42 year old spots. And to suggest otherwise is to invoke his ire, the whispered threat of "sweep the leg" an always present danger. You can take bkallday out of the dojo. But you can't force him to relinquish his cringe-inducing mojo. He's not PC, you see? I think that means "publicly competent."

While I agree [mostly] with your comments, I don't like logging onto BBG and reading these stories and subsequent comments. Isn't that why we have MetalSludge. Hence, my "jump the shark" comment. Sure, Ally wants readership, but at whose expense. I also thought that Ace's comment was in extremely poor taste. granted, so have some of my comments over the years, but aren't we to grow and learn each day, rather than further exploit the already exploited.
