Joe Perry, Steven Tyler Get To Meet President Obama

So this is pretty cool. Steven Tyler and Joe Perry were delayed in Florida when President Obama's plane came to the same airport last week. If you've ever been at an airport when Air Force One comes in, you know all the other planes wait until the Commander in Chief touches down. So while waiting, Steven and Joe wandered around, took picture of the presidential plane and - because they are famous and Obama is cool - they were invited on Air Force One for a tour. Steven Tyler had met the president once before, but this was the first time for Joe Perry. I'm very jealous. 1) I want to meet Aerosmith 2) I want to meet Barack Obama, 3) I want to tour Air Force One.

I wonder if Steven made a joke about Aero Force One?

All you have to do is go back to George W. Bush, or was it Dick Cheney, to find that, as they were and still are lapdogs of Wall Street, The Saudis, the Bin Ladens, Halliburton and The Carlyle Group who are the ones who destroyed this country!

Whatever Metalboy. Reality as you see it. Let me ask any of you Liberals here....be it flletch or you...how has your life improved with Obama as President? I can answer...none...zero...ziltch. He has done nothing to improve the quality of life for any American. Obamacare is a disaster. I work for a healthcare company and my rates have skyrocketed...so that disproves Obama claiming those with corporate sponsored insurance arent affected. More lies.

So if you want more of the same, put that lying witch into office. More of the same....nothing. At least the opposite would be a non career politician.

I am baffled by anyone thinking putting Hillary into office will change anything. It won't. I, for one, believe there is little difference between parties. They want you to believe there is, but there isn't. That's why I love everytime I hear or read about another establishment Republican politician denouncing Trump. Makes me think by voting for him, I just might have done something right.

In addition, it's funny to me that Metalboy! just says Acecis wrong without anything to prove otherwise. Ace was very articulate about real issues....he had charts and everything. Interesting political detours here. Seems to me it's just 2 famous guys who were invited - due to a chance encounter - to visit the President on Air Force One. Regardless of political affiliation, who wouldn't say yes to that??? And kudos to Obama for inviting them, seems like a cool thing to do. Plus he's got some good musical taste, just look at who has all played the White House the last few years (Brad Paisley, Foo Fighters, etc.) Not really "metal", but there's a little Rock in Obama.

I guess almost everyone decided to turn into the skid. Fair enough. That's your right, one and all. And, putting a positive spin on it, the comments do suggests a bit of (ahem) diversity in the opinions of metal-heads. So I am going to take these comments that way: as a sign of our variety.
