David Lee Roth, 'Ain't No Christmas' -- New Song

David Lee Roth has a new solo track out and you can hear it below. It's called "Ain't No Christmas." Some are speculating this song signifies that Roth is leaving Van Halen again. We'll see I suppose. Regardless, Roth sure does sound good on this track.

New website that boggles the mind with its odd layout. His Roth Show is back up and running (latest show probed the fascinating world of bull-riding). Rumors of EeaS reunion shows. That John 5 album wrapped and waiting to be released at some point.
Radio silence from Castle EVH. Less self-aggrandizing comments from Hagar (some positively positive).
None of which proves anything. All I can say is some more DLR, in whatever configuration, has the potential to be as it always is: idiosyncratic, divisive, and welcomed (at least by me).
If I may ask: your favorite VH song and why?
What's yours?

Don't think this is anymore that DLR effing with the fans to keep the name out there. And there is no way in hell that Sammy returns without Michael Anthony...right???
Hmmm, how about this little nugget on Wolfe's twitter account . "I play bass and sing in the background for @VanHalen & Tremonti... for now."
Well now...
That said, I sure hope he duzn't.
My fave Van Halen tracks:
"You Really Got Me"
"Runnin' With The Devil"
"Jamie's Cryin'"
"Ice Cream Man" (Right with ya, DJ)
"Hot For Teacher"
"Unchained"
"Everybody Wants Some"
"And The Cradle Will Rock"
"Mean Street"
"Where Have All The Good Times Gone!"
"Your No Good"
and nothin' gets me down!
You've got it tough? (you?)
I'VE SEEN THE TOUGHEST AROUND!
and, I know,
just how you feel...
You got to roll with those punches and get to what's real.
My turn (as requested): "Unchained" from the original era. It was such a perfect mix of Dave's bluster and humor, larger than life and yet still on point: things keep moving. For their latest iteration, it is "You and Your Blues." Great story and a sign of what Dave can still do when he stays within his range and allows his lyrics to paint a picture.
Oh...been there, done that, everyone.
peace/rock on...and I sing...rock on!
