'Panama'

Happy Leap Day!

Michael Anthony and Robert Mason teamed up to perform "Panama" at a radio show anniversary party. It's really good.

Amazing how integral Michaels backing vocals are to the VH sound.

Damn shame he is on the outs and Wolfie gets to play rockstar thanks to daddy.

That was cool!!! You hit the nail straight on the head Kixchix. Nothing I can add to your statement. Well stated.

While it does s*ck that Anthony is out, let us remember apparently it was Wolfie who got Roth back in the band.

That is the loosest I recall seeing Mason in some time. Normally, he seems so forced singing for Warrant.

And I third what Kixchix said: Anthony was more than just some guy singing back-up. He helped to make those songs special. And this coming from a DLR fanboy.

I have no love for Hagar's era in VH. But I can certainly understand why Anthony stuck with him after Hagar remained loyal where the Bros. Halen did not. A really crappy situation all around.

And if--as the reports now suggest--DLR is still within VH Corp. even while waxing cryptically on his latest release, I would still hope at some point Anthony and DLR could at least share the stage. Point in fact, even this latest Roth-era reunion was barely starting, DLR was already dissing how the Halens had treated Anthony and acknowledging the lack that was felt without him around.
