Bret Michaels, Buckcherry To Headline Laconiafest

I've never been to New Hampshire but Laconiafest sure would be a good reason to visit. Bret Michaels, Ted Nugent, Buckcherry, Lita Ford, LA Guns and much more will play the fest June 11-19. I don't own or even know how to ride a motorcycle, but shoot, this sounds like a fun time. Tickets on sale now.

As much sh*t that is given to Sebastian Bach (especially from some of you), at least he has gone public several times to denounce "uncle ted" views and attitudes even though bach is a huge fan of his music. Bach should've remember the important quote, "If you don't want to be disappointed...don't meet your heroes".

Laconia is always a good party. Been there several times over the years. Aside from major idiot on the bill it looks like a pretty cool lineup to check out. And just as an aside, it would also be a fun opportunity to start some shit with the idiots from the westboro baptist church (cap letters intentionally omitted) as they are apparently planning on pulling some of their idiotic protests during Bike Week. Although I think they'll change their minds pretty quickly if they actually show up.

Attika 7 complete with a Hell's Angel Rusty Coombs perfect fora bike rally. I like Ted's music the Great White Buffalo is a master piece but if you look into his past real far and discover how he dodged the draft it makes me wonder if his patriotism isn't fueled by guilt. I was born in 67 and didn't have to contend with a draft but I voluntarily served 22 years. I was a huge Ted fan until I discovered his past as well as some of his as Fletch stated sexist views.

Just read that slowly to yourself, a NINE day music festival in New Hampshire. Is that normal ? I like fest just as much as anyone buy NINE days ?!?! My liver would probably be outside my body talking to me at some point.

GNR, Bike Week up here is 7 days long,,this gig will probably be on the last weekend. Laconia Bike Week has slowly been losing popularity due to overzealous police and the price gouging on everything ($12 slice of pizza) The nick name last year was 'T Shirt Week' because thats what was on the Weirs,,T shirt vendors and tons of them. I give credit to the organizers as they obviously brought in outside help as the musical acts in the past were weak.
