M3 Rock Festival Set Times Announced

Hard to believe, but M3 Rock Festival is this weekend in Columbia, Maryland. I wish I was going but the timing just didn't work out this year. Here's the band lineup and set times. Some of these sets are brutally short. If you're going, have a great time and report back to the rest of us.

Another thing that makes it lame is why have so many bands if it's going to lead to so many short set times? Instead of a lot of acts only playing for 20 to 25 minutes, why not put those fees toward REAL headliners like Scorpions, Priest or even Poison, if the latter could be convinced to perform.
KIX is the only band with 140 minutes, a full half hour longer than Teslug for two reasons -- 1) They are hometown favorites and 2) Their catalogue of great songs to play goes way deeper than those of the other so-called headliners.
The bands I would go for are Britny Fox and Lynch Mob on Friday night and Every Mother's Nightmare (One of THE greatest Rock band names ever!), Heaven's Edge, Steelheart, Firehouse and Slaughter.
After that, there's really no reason to stick around. The reason I wouldn't stick around for KIX is I've seen 'em over 35 times and the reason I wouldn't stick around for the headliners is they really are forgettable, as Spyke unintentionally implies. Those bands are the epitome of Metal Mediocrity (with the exception of "Queen of the Reich", no doubt.)!
And please... I love Kix, but to actually say their catalogue is "deeper" than Tesla ? Cmon, your unabashed bias is truly out their with the blinders on.
And to promote Metal Mediocrity is by having these bands play 20/25 minutes. That's promoting mediocrity by having them play their MTV video songs, vs actually digging into great cuts on the albums they produced.
Tesla is garbage and one only has to look at their previous occupations to know that's the case. I'll give 'em one thing, though -- The singer, Jeff What's-his-name, even though he was formerly a garbage collector, sure has the chops...
I've told the story before... A few years ago, Cinderella was playing The Monsters of Rock Cruise. However, apparently Tom Keifer had come down with the flu and Cinderella had to go on without him. And all the TOP singers and PLAYERS from all the other bands on the boat pitched in to help out.
Well, it turned out to be one of THE BIGGEST highlights of the cruise, particularly when Jeff Keith (Googled it!) opened the performance as the first singer fronting Cinderella Plus (other players included John Corabi and one of the guitarists from Dangerous Toys.
Their opening song was "Highway to Hell" and Keith absolutely KILLED it! Afterward, I ran into him and told him his performance was nothing short of amazing and that he should form his own band for which he graciously thanked me. It was only years later that he dissapointed me when I watched him have Security remove people from in front of the stage so he could have a better view of Faster Pussycat like he's some kind of big shot or something.
The rest of the fatf*cks from Tesla weren't asked onstage for the Cinderella performance and for good reason... They just don't ROCK like their singer or any of the actual qualified musicians performing that day.
Go to M3 to prove it. Be sure to see KIX, Friday night's headliner.
Then go see Teslug, Saturday night's headliner. Afterward, HONESTLY assess which experience was more impactful! It will be clear, just how much more powerful, clever, humorous, badas*ed and dynamic KIX is when compared to borea*sed Teslug!
Here's a list of every KIX song that will blow any Teslug song off the stage!
