The Darkness, 'Happiness'

The Darkness has a new video out now. It's for "Happiness" from the album Pinewood Smile. It's a cute video, especially if you like cartoons. I love the guitar solo around 1:56. Glam influenced!

I know this has been said in previous threads about this band, but it bears repeating...Pinewood Smile is a fantastic album. It's full of fun songs, over-the-top vocals, and all-around good times. Definitely a top ten album for me this year.

Nice to see the band back on track after a few years in the singer-induced wilderness. They were/are so much bigger than "I Believe in a Thing Called Love," even if that does accurately introduce the sort of spectacle they bring to the musical table. "Last of Our Kind" (the song, no less the album) was also great.
