A Peak At The Upcoming Def Leppard Tour

Def Leppard are rehearsing for their spring tour with Poison and Tesla right now. The band put out a time lapse video of their rehearsal to get fans excited. No rehearsal audio. I think you have a buy a concert ticket to hear the real thing! Happy Sunday.

Tesla only 7 songs is too short, but same as the last tour when they went out with DL and Styx. It needs Paradise and Hang Tough added.

Poison is basically the same as their last tour. Huge disappointment ... why even pretend to ask your fans what they want to hear? I just don't understand why they insist on 2 covers out of only 10 songs. Missed opportunity to really please some long time fans. I mean, do they really think anybody wants to hear "We're an American band"????

All that said, still looking forward to the Louisville show in 3 weeks.

Hahahaha - SNOOZE galore. Is that the Bret Michaels Band set list ?!?!?

Tell me again how having the boys back in Poison make a difference ?

GNR,
It won't really make a difference, but just maybe, for an hour or so, people can hold on to a slice of their youth.
And it will be great, to me, at least, to see the other three guys back on stage.
Have an awesome night.

I probably won't catch this tour (To me: ALL the set list's aren't making me want to spend money on this) but go if at all just to watch CC, whom I think rips and is so underrated in my book.

As you boyz know, I'm hardly a fan of TESLA (a grandiose understatement, if there is or ever was one, haha!!), but I never said I didn't like a handful of their tunes with one in particular, glaringly omitted from their setlist... "Hang Tough", as Steverox points out and easily my personal fave of their stuff.

As far as Poison goes, it is baffling to me to see why they would keep "We're an American Band" over "Cry Tough" or "I Want Action". I mean, come on, anyone who's at least half clued in (most of Rock audiences today, haha!!) or owners of their first album are going to know AND appreciate if they played them.

This is further proof of Michaels' ignorance AND his blind arrogance talking down to the audience. AND, believe me, GNR and Oper8n, it DOES make a difference that the boyz are back on stage with who otherwise is a total clownshow solo.

I've seen both Poison AND Michaels shows and there's just no comparison. The magic of that classic line-up compared to dumba*s solo with his half as*ed band of incompetent nobodies is beyond stunning live.

While Michaels' clowna*s guitarist plays the bare minimum of notes and chords (all he seems to be capable of), C.C. plays what seems like one HUGE incredible solo over the top of the entire show! That, combined with the chemistry of Dahl and Rockett a cohesive part of the band's overall sound achieves that "5th man" sonic unity nowhere to be found in a Michaels solo gig.

Let's face it, they carry him. And THAT's a reality I bet he surely doesn't like!
