Farewell Gregg Allman

Gregg Allman, founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, died yesterday at the age of 69. He died from complications of liver cancer. The Allman Brothers Band are legends and definitely earned their place in rock history. Respect.

Here's an amazing clip of the band performing "Whipping Post" back in 1970.

Out of the six original members of the allman Brothers Band, only two of them are still alive now. Seeing that band live, no matter who was in it, was an unforgettable experience. They almost always played for at least three hours, and the musicianship on display was mind-blowing. No backing tracks, or other trickery with those guys. just virtuosic talent night after night.

RIP Greg. You may have sang that "I'm No Angel", but here's one guy hoping that you now are.
