Warrant, 'Louder Harder Faster' - New Video

There's nothing wrong with having a little fun and Warrant seems to be having a ball these days. The band just released the video for the song "Louder Harder Faster." It's the title track from their upcoming album via Frontiers. You'll be able to buy it May 12.

There's a bit of a story inside this video. The guys get stranded, get saved by some women and then go on to get to their gig in time. There's some crowd shots of regular fans, too and if you look close enough you'll probably see yourself. I mean, it wouldn't surprise me!

I love the attitude and tone of the song. I know I've said this on other posts, but good lord, the production sounds so digital. I just don't expect a long-standing band like Warrant to put out something that so obviously sounds like it was done in ProTools.

It's ok I guess. I love Robert Mason's vocals but this sounds nothing like the Warrant I grew up with.

Heres the thing. I totally get the fact that the guys want to continue without Jani. And Robert mason does a helluva job. They usually kick ass live, and I fully support everything they do. Heres the problem, though. Those dudes were/are NOTHING without the songwriting of Jani Lane. Its a goddamn disgrace that they dont do some sort of memorial every single damn night, maybe right before they do 'heaven' in tribute to Jani. Much like how Frankie Banalli and Quiet Riot do for Randy Rhodes and Kevin DuBrow every night before they do 'Thunderbird'. I will never respect them until they do so. Its so wrong to ignore the mans talents who they are making a living off of.
