Getting a Sharknado gig is somehow pretty cool. So bad it's good. And very self aware. Whether or not Michaels is self aware is a different story.

The Poison tour probably made him quite a bit so it was probably a way just to get a quick cash grab.
I agree with CheapSeats, I don't think anybody legitimately likes Sharknado or would want to watch it, but its so bad its kind of cool, I don't think anyone would turn that role down.
