Tesla Announces Headline Tour

Tesla just wrapped up their tour with Poison and Def Leppard and will now head out on a headline run of their own this summer. I'll be passing on this since I've seen Tesla live so many times already. Here's the dates:

Saw them around 1989 with Poison. I'm good. Btw, I really wish venues would stop calling themselves The Fillmore. there were only two real fillmores, and they both closed in 1971.

And as for Bob's Fillmore point, I agree... however, I do believe that the Fillmore name is "licensed" and rebuilt after the closings you speak of. I think one of the concert promoters basically use the schtick similar to Hard Rock Clubs around the country.

Tesla are an amazing live band. Really really great live. Took my daughters to The Scoprions concert several years back and both loved the opening band a lot more. That band was Tesla. The older one is only into Country and the younger one is into Pop. Although I tried hard to turn them into rockers growing up.

What sucks is the date here in Cincinnati is the same night at LA Guns, Jack Russells Great White, and Junkyard like 7 miles away at a different club. I gotta choose, and Tesla does not win that battle......

p.s. What Kenny O sez ... I realize this is old news by now but if I had to pick, I'd go with Junkyard or if it's L.A. Guns with Tracii, I'd pick that over anything else.
