Vinnie Vincent Plans To Go Outside

Believe it or not, Vinnie Vincent is about to head out into the sun and perform at a KISS expo. It will be his first public performance in about two decades. The expo is in Atlanta and you can even meet Vincent if you buy the $289 VIP package. That VIP experience is limited to 100 people.

The event takes place January 20, 2018.

It will be interesting to see how this goes down. Vincent is nuts and also a recluse and you know he'll be mobbed. He's wildly talented - in fact, he's probably the person with the most raw musical talent to ever play in KISS.

I know some of you will go to this. Wanna write a review of the meet and greet for the rest of us?

VV Invasion was awesome!

Bewilders me the lifestyle of these dudes. WTF do you do with your day? Cash flow one would think is not huge.

I couldn't care less about appearances etc. Rock or stay out of the way!

. Mr. Cusano is sorta like the Halleys Comet of rock. Comes around every 76 years or so to light shit up,cause a little madness and hysteria, then flames out and disappears. (Inquiring minds wonder if he'll paint the ankh symbol on?) Lol.
Ally you're correct in that the dude is way talented, but also batshit crazy, But then again, when you get a Ishtar down to it, a lot of musicians, and folks in the arts in general, tend to skew in that direction. (I look at one in the mirror daily) 😂😂😂

Unless I missed it, I don't think he is actually performing.

I saw Vinnie on the Creatures tour. Without internet back in the day we didnt even know Ace was gone until the band started playing and i said who the f is this guy. He wasnt Ace but he played hella guitar. Wendy O Williams opened the show black tape and all.

I saw the Creatures tour as well. I knew that Ace was gone but had never seen the new guy until I walked up to the merch table at the show and saw Vinnie's face in place of Ace's on the Creatures album cover photo that was on a shirt. KISS was the first concert I ever saw on the 79' Dynasty tour. I was an Ace freak and didn't take kindly to someone taking his place but was thrilled to see Eric Carr. Night Ranger opened the show and were really good but looking back now, I wish I had seen Wendy O. I have a Vinnie Vincent story if anyone would care to hear it.

Hey Badland, I was at that show as well. Dallas Convetiin Center half full. Same as you I had no idea Ace was gone. Our first instinct was that he changed his makeup lol.

Hey JCD, where'd you see KISS in '79? I saw them at the Philadelphia Spectrum with Judas Priest opening up. My friends who saw them in NYC at Madison square Garden got New England as the opening band instead.

Hey Bob, I saw KISS in 79' at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, TN. New England was the opener and were good as I recall but I was 9 years old and had really no other live band to compare them to as they were the first live band I had seen. I got into Judas Priest a couple of years after the KISS show and would have loved to have seen them before they broke big. I have seen KISS many, many times over the years but nothing will ever compare to that first time. Cheers!

I'm dyin' with envy over here that you guys saw KISS with Vinnie Vincent.

I also wish I had seen Vinnie Vincent Invasion back in the day, back when Mark Slaughter still had his chops and Vinnie hadn't speedballed his brain into mush.

I just hope he isn't a wreck like Sly Stone when he reemerged.

And please do tell you Vinnie story, JCD!

And if you do, I'll tell you my Wendy O. Stories! (I've got two!)

p.s. It's possible I could get to see Vinnie in Atlanta in January if it doesn't sell out by the time I get the bucks together!
