I agree Alyson. This should be an amphitheater outdoor “it is SUMMER” tour. This is a long tour. Wow. I suspect the $$$$ is huge. I also suspect some will pass on this tour because they don’t want to be in an arena in July.

I’m surprised Journeys keyboardist Jonathan Cain’s asswipe televangelist wife Paula White is not an opening act.

Their entire catalog is now on iTunes.

Saw Journey a few years ago with Steve Miller and Tower of Power. they were great. I might go to the San Diego date since it is outdoors.

That’s a rather prodigious undertaking of a tour 👍

I'm far more excited that the Cincinnati date is in the arena than the shed. The shed in Cincinnati is the worst outdoor ampitheater in the country.

I'll probably go, Def Leppard is always a fun show and I haven't seen Journey yet. It is kind of weird that it's a summer show but they're playing arenas and not outdoor sheds.

I'm actually GLAD that it's in the excellent sounding T Mobile Arena, here in Vegas. Sept is still a "prefer to be in Air Conditioning" month here.

I was 2nd row For Def Lep's 1st U.S. show ever, in 1980, & I'll be supporting them tile their last gig ever, Just because of the way they stuck with Rick Allen after his accident that would have ended the career of any lesser drummer. That's what being a band is all about.

P.S. What's the ** signify?

The ** means not ticketed by Ticketmaster. Didn't meant to cut that off the bottom of the release with the dates. - Allyson

This is tough for me. They are playing the YUM center in Louisville again, where I've already seen them twice in the last 3 years. Do I really want to pay $100 per ticket to hear 90% the same setlist again (and I know that's an assumption, but we know it's true)? It's hard because I love Journey as well and last time I saw them live with with Steve Augeri as lead singer, so it's been a while. Decisions ... decisions ...

finally def lep is playing a TX summer show inside. i may go this time. there’s a reason we call it “sweatplex” amphitheater. but the bands love watching the fans fry i guess.

Allyson, Thanx for clarifying the " ** " thing. And yeah, AXS has the exclusive ticketing right at this venue. I much prefer them.. the "inconvenience fees" of TicketBastard are way too high.

The "cheap seats" in Vegas are $50... I just go to listen, & could care less about being up front, so that is good enough for me.

P.S. While I'm cheap plugging things.. https://soundcloud.com/acesteele/actress-all-the-kidz-on-the-street-1-whores-open-slay-12-25-17-mix

Hahaha!!!

“Two cover bands in one night ... “

Only you could get away with that ...

And ... “... asswipe televangelist Paula White ... “ You said it, Kixchix!

One can only conclude Jonathan Cain must also be an asswipe, as well, despite his talents. After all, he is married to her.

And he’s apparently in good company since Neal Schoen is apparently one, too!

MetalBoy... You said it. Schon is an incredible asswipe. I'm tempted to wear a Trump t shirt just to piss him off. Actually, I hope Def Lep plays first, so I can leave before having to endure Journey's schmaltz-fest of a set.

Ace! Why would Def Leppard go first? I thought they sold more albums than Journey!

Still, I suppose who plays first is gauged by popularity levels now and in the case of Journey, they’re more popular now than ever due to the kids embracing their ubiquitous hit, “Don’t Stop Believin’” and the fact that Elliot can’t hitbthe high notes anymore (as if he ever could).
