Tom Petty Died Of Accidental Overdose

I don't have much to add here: Tom Petty's family released his cause of death yesterday. He died due to an accidental overdose from prescribed pain medication. He'd been touring with a bad hip that ended up being completely broken. Tom was in excruciating pain.

Another death due to drugs. He was taking Fentanyl, oxycodone, Xanax, Restoril, and Celexa. We're in the middle of an opioid crisis in the country. Most days it feels like no one in power even cares.

Guy was a Heroin addict in the 90’s. Trust me when I tell you that giving him Fentanyl and Oxy’s is like giving a 4 year old a loaded shotgun. Absolutely zero good can come out of it. Another (great one) taken away by opiates. ☹️
