Mike Tramp Releases Promo Trailer

Mike Tramp will release Stray From the Flock March 1. There's a new promo trailer for that album now. He'll also tour the U.S. starting next month. I have to give Mike credit here: while others are passing the torch and flaming out (see yesterday's comment section) it seems like he's ready to keep on rocking. More power to him.

Well, he is willing to keep _somewhat_ rocking these days. Tramp has gone back to the well a couple of times with the WL stuff. But he seems to be over that.

Tramp's most recent releases are more country/Americana in nature. He still has the distinctive voice. He just prefers acoustic (band or solo) stuff nowadays. No harm in that.

I will admit, though, that hearing stripped down acoustic versions of some of WL's hits was a bit odd at first. Some grew on me; some did not.

And I still think that _Pride_ is one of those albums that, start to finish, has barely a missed step on it (even the pedestrian "Don't Give Up" is bouncy enough to compensate for those awful motivational speaker lyrics).
