Dirty Honey 'When I'm Gone'

Dirty Honey is a new band from Los Angeles with a great classic rock vibe. They have a song called "When I'm Gone" which gives me hope and I am ready to hear more from them. Happy Friday. I am so glad it's time for the weekend.

Yet, the combination is startlingly fresh and my instinct was to get this just released EP from Apple Music asap as soon as I heard “When I’m Gone”. I’ve now listened to the entire EP multiple times. They’ve also got another great tune, “Fire Away” which was released as a single sometime in 2018.
My only complaint is the singer can sound a tad generic at times but at least it’s a good kind of generic as there’s no taking away from the fact he’s got a KILLER voice!
Well, since Keith redeemed himself in Def Teslard when they put out that recent Phil Collin produced “Shock” album, I guess that’s not such a bad thing.
Man, I’m beating the h*ll out of this EP+! About to cue it up again!
Suffice to say, Dirty Honey is my new favorite shiny object!
p.s. Great logo, too!
Check out the rest of their tour dates, as they are playing a lot this Summer including several festivals, some dates opening for SLASH and quite a few more single bill dates at a lot of cool clubs throughout the country.
I might try to catch them in Port Chester, New York, which is a stone’s throw from NYC, if I’m up there for business. They strike me as a band not to be missed, if they’re playing near you!
p.s. Envious you’re seeing ‘em at Louder Than Life, BK! They’re gonna be KILLER!
I take it back. The singer doesn’t sound like Jeff Keith. He sounds better!
Wish there were stronger guitar solos. That’s one thing about that Van Fleet kid, as derivative as he is of Page, he really cranks it, whereas this dude is just noodling by comparison!
