Hair Metal Roadtrip

It’s Friday and I’m off work. In fact, I’m headed out on a bit of a roadtrip (I’ll tell you why tomorrow). That means I need a roadtrip playlist. I’m looking at 5 hours in the car with Eric. I am not a good passenger – and I hate driving more. When given the option, I always fly but for this trip that really wasn’t an option. So now I’m cultivating music to get me through the monotony… and holiday traffic.

I’ve selected some Amazon playlists and saved them to my account. They have one called Hair Metal Anthems. It’s every famous glam song you can think of, all in one place. There’s a couple things that are not hair metal, like Starship – but overall, the playlist is good and the hits should make everyone happy. I argue with the inclusion of Def Leppard’s “Photograph” here versus “Sugar” but it is what it is. Who else is road tripping this weekend?

Allyson, have you ever listened to Roadtrip Radio on SiriusXM? It's a pretty fun station for roadtrips that plays all different genres to keep things fresh. Fortunately, Angela and I both love roadtripping, but I know it's not for everybody. I hope you guys manage to have a wonderful time. As for Angela and me, we are looking forward to finally having three full days together just mellowing out at home. Here's to all BBG-ers having a great long weekend!
