I, too have this box set.

Though not completely definitive of the 80’s Hair/Glam/Sleaze/Metal Hollywood scene, it is fun to listen to and make your own mix to include the many other acts left off should you care to hunt down the REAL L.A. Holy Grails of Hair Metal, such as K.K. Wilde, Aña Black or Kidd Willis (not the Sebastian Bach band ... The other one).

p.s. Where’s Ace when we need him to separate the poseurs from the bands who were as good or better than many of the bands who got major contracts, some of which appear in this compilation.
