The video for Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" just set a huge record on YouTube. The clip is the oldest music video to reach one billion views. To celebrate Queen remastered the video in HD.
1 billion views of Bohemian Rhapsody! That our music is still creating such a large impact to this day is simply incredible, and we thank you. To celebrate, we remastered our video in HD here: https://t.co/fVsdgYfM1Z pic.twitter.com/2m9kUv730Y

Bohemian Rhapsody - Soundtrack

Movies are playing a major part in keeping great Rock & Roll alive.
Though it’s an awesome song and video clip, how else would “Bohemian Rhapsody”, the video, hit a billion views without “Bohemian Rhapsody”, the hit movie?
I just saw Tarantino’s latest amazing flick, “Once Upon A Time ... in Hollywood”, set in 1969, featuring an incredible soundtrack (as all of his movies do) of songs which otherwise might eventually fade from our collective memories or may have never been in our memories to begin with.
Though the movie obviously won’t bring a billion hits to any of the artists it features, it will bring new found appreciation for their music such as pre-Gillan Deep Purple and Paul Revere and The Raiders, among many others.
In turn, one would like to think the kids will be continuing the newfound trend of frequenting vintage record stores, now looking for the original vinyl containing those songs, as well as heading to eBay to buy turntables, vintage stereos and portable radios so prominently featured playing the music throughout the movie.
Long Live Rock & Roll!
Kiefer is a legend but not as a solo artist.
And the Pat’s Dogs commercial Allyson once posted is a classic.
Than you for sharing it on BBG! once again, Dale!
