Quiet Riot Changes Singers (Again)

Frankie Banali can't keep a singer to save his life. James Durbin is out as the lead singer of Quiet Riot. Jizzy Pearl is the new guy apparently. This is ignorant on many levels but especially since Quiet Riot is due to release a new album in a couple months with Durbin on vocals. Will Pearl re-record all of Durbin's vocals on the upcoming Hollywood Cowboys?

Banali should change the name of the band to LAUGH RIOT, it’s gotten so ridiculous!

I used to try to stick up for Banali, but he has really run the once-credible Quiet Riot name into the ground. I dig Jizzy a lot, and thought the tunes he recorded with Quiet riot a few years ago were pretty good, but I really wish he didn't have to go back to the crapshow that is QR these days. Banali may very well have Jizzy re-record all of the vocals for the album. Remember when Seann Nicols recorded all of the vocals for the "Road Rage" album, and then he was fired? the release of the album had to be postponed until Durbin could re-record all of the vocals. This makes two straight albums in a row where this has happened. I have lost any respect I had left for Banali. DuBrow must be rolling over in his grave.

Bob nails it. What is with Banality (Banality! Ha! You have just witnessed one case where Autocorrect actually demonstrated AI with stunning accuracy) and firing singers right after they record their vocal tracks?

Sure is a strange pattern he’s fallen into.

p.s. Poor Jizzy Pearl. Such a great singer as demonstrated on that first absolutely classic Love/Hate album now having to resort to this absolute travesty of a band in order to survive!
