Can You Even Imagine?

My new cat Roosevelt has settled right in. He is comfortable and has basically taken over. He also enjoys loud music now and didn't even flinch when I played Alice Cooper last night. I think that is a great sign!

I did a second take when I saw the Blabbermouth headline earlier today - that the late Eddie Van Halen was considering a reunion tour with David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony. Yes, you read that right: all three of them. This revelation comes from Wolfgang, Eddie's son. Apparently Gary Cherone was even mentioned as part of Eddie's "kitchen sink" tour idea.

What a show that would have been. Can you imagine how much we all would have loved it? Also, think of how expensive the tickets would have been!

Wolfie did the interview with Howard Stern on SiriusXM this morning. I was working and did not catch it but I think you can hear replays online.

and think of the drunken fistfights in the parking lot over “sammy vs. dave.” while it would have been great, fans would find a way to screw it up.

As a big fan of both versions of the band, and having never seen the Hagar fronted version live, this would have been phenomenal. I would have paid any amount to see it.

I hate the "new and improved" woke Stern but this kid seems to have a good head on his shoulders, from all the quotes and everything i read. But bringing back Gary Cherone??? Ugh

Agreed, BK! ... Write it down, haha!!

No offense to EVH but to be quite honest, why the h+ll did he wait so long ‘til it was too late.

I still think Wolfie should throw a tribute concert ... Have a killer guitarist for each song take over Eddie’s parts ... Of course, it wouldn’t be as good as the man himself but some of his legion of Guitarists who worship the ground the man walks on would surely rise to the occasion... Dweezil Zappa, John 5, Tom Morello, Steve Vai to name a few ...
