'This Christmas - A Beacon of Hope'

From my inbox - a nice message for the season:
Arnel Pineda, lead singer Journey, has released "This Christmas - A Beacon Of Hope" to kick off the Christmas season via Imagen Records.
"The Year 2020 has brought many challenges for all of us: Taal Volcano eruption in January, Typhoon Vamco/Ulysses in November and the ongoing COVID crisis. Every single one of you has played the hero one way or another. Thank you for your commitment and dedication. Thank you for your collaboration, compassion and courage. Thank you for providing exceptional care and - most importantly - thank you for giving us hope during these uncertain times. APFI volunteers and donors have been - and are still - doing what we can with all that we have" Love, Arnel and APFI.
Arnel is also a philanthropist with his own foundation called Arnel Pineda Foundation, Inc. (APFI) is a non-stock, non-profit, and independent Philippine foundation that provides underprivileged children quality education, health services and medical attention.
Today, blessed with the ability to give back, Arnel mobilizes his team to join the battle against poverty and its ensuing havoc on Philippine youth. His ongoing tenure as frontman of the American rock band Journey has allowed many individuals with shared goals to know him and join in helping children rise above their circumstances.

In other news: Schon and Cain. Two men with little in common but a desire to torpedo a once great band. And I say this as someone who was amazed at Schon's Journey Through Time concerts. Then again, Schon had Rollie (gifted and low-key for the most part) and Castrovono (a talented, but troubled, guy who 'seems' to have his life back together after a series of nearly unforgivable lapses) doing the legwork while his face did the usual masturbatory grimaces, as if to remind people, yet again, that he is talented. You know the saying: if you have to constantly tell people you are X, then you are probably not X.
Pineda was gifted a dream job and a mixed blessing. It is nice to see that he is making the most of it.
