Hahaha!!!

Music for stupid people by stupid people!

LCD (Lowest Common Denominator) Rehash recorded at Abby Road Studios, no less!

p.s. Geezus! They couldn’t even vary the graphics on all the “contents of the deluxe edition? Lame ... However, before everyone starts piling on, I absolutely LOVED their last album, “SHOCKED”, their best album in decades!

Only take exception for the stupid people comment... other than that. Rehashed recordings ? Let's do some side B re recordings. Yesterday is gone, freedom slaves, etc...

New album ? Pshhh... this from a huge teslaholic

MB is a douche, but as a Tesla fan...meh. Never been huge into acoustic albums to begin with but at least the original Five Man had a nice live energy and the performances kicked ass even in an acoustic setting (with Love Song’s acoustic/electric double solo being a particular highlight for me). This one sounds like they had five people in the crowd. Pass for me.

Oh Basileus Metalboy is a true musicologist he has deep appreciations for all things music and he also has strong opinions about what he doesn't like and I respect that. Some of his opinions are formed from actual interactions with musicians which I can also attest to that some are true entitled dicks. Is MB a douche? Hell no he is a great teller of his truth.

I have seen Tesla Point Blank as MB would say in their heyday and I happen to think Frank Hannon is a great guitar player but this attempt at an album is just than obviously filler for a record contract as most live albums are --there are a few exceptions such as one more from the road by a legendary band.

TESLA Rules.

But I will pass on this, already have "5 Man Acoustic Jam" and "Twisted Wires".

Appreciate the back up, Shawn.

Basileus, note that I said their’s is music for stupid people by stupid people.

I never said smart people like you aren’t entitled to like it.

And just do you know, I have massive respect for your knowledge of music and the bands behind it.

We just happen to disagree on this band as of late, save for “Shocked”, which I think is great and BK doesn’t.

I also think Jeff Keith has a helluva voice and could have fronted a much more Hard Rock band if he wanted to. And I told him as much right to his face after he sang the hell out of “Highway To Hell” with Cinderella & Friends on The Monsters of Rock Cruise around ten years ago.

If not, he could at least do a solo album a la Bruce Dickinson and what he did with “Tattooed Millionaire”.

Tattooed Millionaire one of my favorites I was playing that on last night I just wish I could of cranked the amp to 11 but it was late.....

Basileus 👍🏿.... 😆! Shocked is the worst album to date in THE MIGHTY TESLAS catalogue! It sounds like Def Leppards little brother. This new album doesn’t seem needed! I would have rather heard them do all their B sides Acoustically. ...... Here’s to a GREAT 👍🏿 4 more Years!

You're exactly right, Jack T. Anyone that says that record was good needs a lobotomy, stat!!!
February 12, 2020 | Unregistered CommenterBkallday
BK! Does that mean the members of TESLA need lobotomies, as well? Because they certainly don’t shy away from thinking of themselves as great.

I think we can determine at least two people around here who have obviously already had lobotomies around here!

This does seem like a "put out a live album to honor the contract" thing. I get that they have to do it, but I wish bands would put more time on these products and make the package more quality for the people who are gonna buy it. Even though it's a half hearted half added live release in sure it'll be ten times better than that last album, that was terrible.
