Oh Boy...

I'm back home from vacation. Eric and I went to San Juan for a couple days and then got on the Disney Wonder for her first voyage into her new home port of New Orleans. We stopped at Disney's Castaway Cay on the way and had many sea days which is horrible for the waistline. So much laying in the sun and eating! After we disembarked in New Orleans we met up with Kari and had fun catching up with her. I'm glad to be home but it is cold and snowy here in Ohio.

I've been in a time-warp. I have no idea what has happened in the music world over the past nine days. When I logged on to Blabbermouth for the first time this morning, I did see the story about Vince Neil below. It's sad, insane and I don't-know-what. I hope Vince gets it together before The Stadium Tour this summer. Also, who knew there was a service where you can pay celebs to send you private video messages? People pay Vince $400 for a 250 word private video message. Crazytown!

I’m assuming the “trainer, Chef, and nutritionist” Vinnie has been supposedly been working with are Little Debbie,Chef Boyardee, and Jim Beam?

Hahaha!!!, Gary!

Ya got me there regarding my wishful thinking he would be on such a regimen ...

What is he waiting for?

p.s. I just looked up Neil’s net worth ... $50,000,000 ... Does he seriously need the chump change from these video chats? If he’s gotta do it, why not donate the proceeds to his Skylar Neil Foundation, or something charitable?

Cameo is actually pretty cool. But you really need to check the videos that your “star” has done for others to see if it’s worth it. For example, the Motley guys on there (Vince and Tommy) ask for a lot and give very little. Little being 20 seconds or so per video. Contrast that with Sean Astin from Goonies, LOTR, Rudy fame and I had him do a video for my sister’s 45th birthday and he did over 2 minutes, it was personal, funny and very genuine. And back then he charged about $100 for the video. Price has gone up since then. Some are naturals at this (Debbie Gibson, Sean Astin, Chris Hansen), and some just plain suck. Check it out for yourself and you’d be surprised who is on it!

Oh yeah, Vince just plain sucked on that one. They should get their $400 back, or a new video.
