This Happened... It Wasn't Cheap

So an anonymous buyer spent over $100k to buy the guitar Kirk Hammett used in the "One" video. I mean, this would be cool to own, but that is crazy expensive. Plus what would you do with it? Just hang it on the wall? Surely you wouldn't play this, right? Again, I just don't get collectors. #ImCheap Still, "One" remains my favorite Metallica song - and video!

So the big question is since Metallica is a corporation did they all share in the proceeds and on another note I think the black album guitar is going up on the block as well.

Heck I can't afford a $600 guitar let alone 100 grand for 100 grand you should get the shoe and wah pedal plus amp.

It was the right decision. Kirk is still reeling from his purchase of Bela Lugosi's teeth and the skeleton of the monkey that appeared in the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. He needs to find additional sources of money.
