New Billy Gibbons Music

Billy Gibbons just released a new song called "Desert High." The song is from the upcoming album Hardware, due out in early June. A lot of ZZ Top fans obviously have commented on the track via YouTube. The word most fans used over and over again is "psychedelic." What do you think?

He sounds like Barry "Very" White . . . and Stoned!!! Nothing wrong with that, I suppose. Perhaps it should have been called "Dessert High." You know, munchies.

Besides, I am more than confident enough to admit one of my favorites songs by ZZT is "My Head's In Mississippi." It still has the somewhat off-putting veneer of that era of the band. But, at the same time, it so clearly reflects the retro roots of the luckiest bar band in the world!!! But the Cool Hand Luke-esque video is still horrid. It looks like a commercial for a movie on Lifetime!
