Adrian Smith and Richie Kotzen, as Smith/Kotzen, are back with a new video for their song "Solar Flare." I love this pairing!

Decent enough song. I prefer Smith's singing to Kotzen's. Underrated as a singer in Maiden (backing vocals, obviously; bu also the B-side "Reach Out"). Smith seems like a balanced dude. Looking forward to reading his book (even though I can't stand the idea of fishing).

Smith is a much better singer than Kotzen and the dual guitar attack works well. I am digging this album.

Agreed, Jeff, at least partially. I think Kotzen has a good semi-Cornell-style voice. But Smith really has a soulful voice. I wish Maiden utilized him more on that front. Then again, hard to push Dickinson to the side.

And it seems as if my keyboard was missing a 't' at just the moment I needed it in my last post! As always, I need an editor.
