As I have said, I bet he is a hoot to have a drink with. I just don't care for his musical output (no offense to Ronnie or EVH). And I am not even diving in to the whole SH vs. DLR thing. Not worth it. To each their own.

What a Legend! I'm not travelling to LV from the east coast to see this but I would if I lived closer. I have seen him many times over the years both solo, with Chickenfoot, the Wabos, and in VH and he never fails to put on a great show. Wish I could have seen him with Montrose or HSAS.

That short residency has already multiplied. Presale sold out in 2 hours. Like Jeff said, he never goes through the motions live. Dudes like,72 and still has the pipes and energy of a 30 year old. (His good buddy Vince should take heavy notes and study them hard for next years extravaganza)

Plus, the band behind him is exemplary. Vic Johnson is probably the most unsung guitarist out there. Dude does EVH,Joe Satriani,and Jimmy Page songs nightly note for note, along with Sammy’s regular stuff and whatever else they decide to toss up on any given night. Add in the worlds best background vocalist (and one helluva bassist), and “Lil Bonham” and that’s a band guaranteed to shake shit up.
